In cooperation with the City of Vienna, the Counseling Center for Migrants offers information events for up to 170 people per appointment.

Since last year, the demand of Viennese citizens with foreign citizenship for Austrian citizenship has increased enormously. In the meantime, about 1,300 citizens per month are interested in an information appointment at the City of Vienna Department for Immigration and Citizenship (MA 35), compared to about 600 a year ago. In order to meet the rapidly increasing demand, the City of Vienna, in cooperation with the Counseling Center for Migrants, has developed a new format for initial information meetings. At the new group appointments, up to 170 people per appointment will be informed about obtaining Austrian citizenship.
