Vienna.strengths – Protection from partner violence
The aim of the information event is to raise awareness of the issue of intimate partner violence, share experiences and discuss prevention and protection measures.
Target group: People who are in contact with people affected by intimate partner violence in their everyday and/or professional lives.
Program:
- Panel discussion I: Partner violence! What do I do now? (Correct) Acting in an emergency situation
- Panel discussion II: We against partner violence! Prevention, awareness-raising and communication strategies in civil society
Discussion with:
Representatives of the following institutions/associations: Vienna Women’s Service, Vienna Intervention Center against Violence in the Family, Department of Child and Youth Services (MA 11), Peregrina – Education, Counseling and Therapy Center for Immigrant Women,
StoP – Neighborhoods without Partner Violence, Men’s Counseling Vienna, Diakonie Women’s Counseling Vienna, Black Women’s Community, Counseling Center for Migrants and activists from civil society
